Packing up the computer.

I admit it, I have been a bit of a stinko China blogger. Let's face it, when a couple of nice days came along the last thing I was going to do was spend one unnecessary moment in the hotel room. I have been out and about with my chicken wing diva (and, yes, it suits her perfectly so just deal if you don't like the name ;0) One look at her antics and it will be very clear why she is 'chicken wing'.

The past few days have flown. I'll have to catch up with pictures once we get ourselves back on track in the states. As for now, I gotta get packin'. We leave at one gross hour of early morning. Please send good karma. I am dreading that flight more than I can say.

I am sad to leave China. I really have loved it here (save the stinky, rainy parts). Even so, I am glad that my daughter and I are headed home to begin our lives together with family at last! I don't know if all this has completely dawned on me yet. I have a little girl I adore. Still, I don't think I will realize it until I see her in that crib I have had set up for her for years.

Thanks for putting up with my skittish posting from China and know that I look forward to catching up with you all again from home once we settle in.

Wishing you all well....see you on the other side!

Safe travels, good luck with the flight. I'd never wish 35 hours of travel with Linda Blair on anyone . . . . (but I do know how it feels).

Safe travels friend! Praying for all of you...and for a quiet trip for your adorable chicken wing.

I can't believe it is already time to come home. When you are in China it feels like forever, but when you get home it will feel like it was all a dream since it flew by so fast. We hope you guys have a nice uneventful flight home and can't wait to see more photos of chicken-wing when you get home. Of course you will have about two weeks of jet lag but hopefully you and chicken wing can get some rest. Just think, you are almost home! :)

Hugs,
Jonni

So glad you're on your way home.
I know what you mean about the surreal feeling. It took awhile for me to really feel like Alek's mom. It was promptly cured the first time he upchucked on my new sweater a few weeks later! :)
Enjoy the trip home.

We know you are excited to be coming home! The jet lag is a bummer but we're sure you all will do fine.
Not all return flights are nightmares and the little wing may just sleep through much of it.
Miracles do happen :)

"Thanks for putting up with my skittish posting"... HA! You know we hang on every word... drool over every picture!!! It wouldn't matter if it were 2 words or 200!!!

Hope you have a very eventfree trip hope, and your angel sleeps and is happy!! If you can, get her to chew on something, whilst you take off and leave.

Oh yeah... we truly are connected... Todd's pet name for me, when we were dating, was "Chicken Leg". Go figure!
