I can barely believe we've only been together 3 weeks and a day. The time before she was here seems more distant by the moment and the future seems brighter than ever right now.

Glory on...
Not sure what has gotten into my girl but I like it. The Wing is currently a champion sleeper and napper. Now, the bad news is our routine is going to get bungled this week due to so many appointments for her. I hope we both get through the turbulence unscathed ;0)
You can't tell here but she is staring at her reflection as she plays with her music table. She gets no greater pleasure than staring at herself. It just cracks her up. By the way, look who is standing without mama's assist. Yeah, she still needs something for balance but we get further every day.
Okay, so we need a little height before that kitchen gets very interesting.
This morning I started a little experiment. I took the Wing into the potty, held her on it briefly and gave her the 'poop talk'. She did it. About 20-30 mins after eating breakfast and lunch she did it too. I still can't get over it. I suppose I am easily impressed. NO, she is not potty trained...she does not have the neurologic sphincter control at 13 months. The facts are the facts. She simply responds to command and has mommy trained/tuned in as to when that will be successful.
I can barely believe we've only been together 3 weeks and a day. The time before she was here seems more distant by the moment and the future seems brighter than ever right now.

She's absolutely precious in these photos. I'm so glad she's getting back to her great sleepin' self. It makes it so much more fun, doesn' it? ;>)
So Cute! Love her PJ's too. Glad you all are finding your groove! Look out she will be running before you know it :)
Gaaaawd, the cuteness is enough to kill me and I do believe you have a champion pooper as well as a champion sleeper! I'm impressed and can think of no greater thing than a poop trained baby!
I am SO sending my 25 month old to your house for "poop-on-command" training! That rocks!
Glad things are settling down for you both. I am new to your blog and playing catch up (I blame Magi, as that's how I found you!).
Cheers, Kiy
Too cute! I miss the days of footie jammies :-)
I simply cannot get over :
A) how unbelievably cute she is..truly is!
B) that she will poop on command. that is amazing.
C)that you've only had her 3 weeks. seems like so much longer. :)
she's really come a long way, as has mommy!! congrats on the championship sleeper (enjoy it while it lasts!!)....
She is so cute!!! They do things and change so quickly. It's like they were waiting for someone to love them and encourage them and appreciate everything they do to blossom. The changes in Lauren are amazing. She is getting more comfortable with alot of people around and playing (or trying to play) with other kids. What a gift we have been given...So happy sleep is calming down for you and you can enjoy each other more. Linda
So fun to see your Wing playing with her kitchen.
Ok, just want to say that Hannah is 3 and a half and still doesn't want to potty train! One day she does then NO more for 3 weeks!
YOU GO GIRL!
Very impressive.
I can't believe that poop talk thing. That's amazing. How is that even possible?
Glad you've found your groove.
Oh my goodness....I so miss those one piece jammies!!! I just want to sniff her head through the computer screen....
Oh, she's so adorable!!! Great job with the sleeping stuff! As for the poop training, don't underestimate her!! That's awesome that you guys are timing it so well. I just learned, when going through the potty training stuff with Nora, that kids develop poop control earlier than pee control. Seems backwards, but makes sense!
Can she be any cuter in those pink pjs!!! So happy about the sleep - sleep makes every thing so much easier. Cool about the pooping.

It's so good to see you so happy. :)
Hi! I've been lurking for a while reading your blog, and I just had to comment for once to say how happy I am for both of you. I hope to adopt from China eventually (I'm just a college student at the moment) but for now it's wonderful to read of such a happy little family. Best wishes!!!

Wow, she is sleeping!!! Congrats on that special moment.
These pictures are just delicious!
Sounds like she is doing SOOOOOO WELL.
she is darling..
Love the poop talk..
Have a great evening..
Oh gosh all of this is just music to my ears!! I love hearing how happy you are and how happy the wing is!!!
Love, Kristy

OK, so if C can poop on command I thought M should be abe to as well. However, either her mommy is not as dialed in to her bowel activities or M is still having a difficult time with the English language because it is not to be in the Snow household!!!
C is a cutie! Can't say that I blame her for loving to look at herself in the mirror. M does that too.
All in good time :0) Each week will get more and more amazing and you're right.. the time of waiting will seem like just a short memory believe it or not.
Good Vibes to you during all the doctors appointments.
I am just loving your posts Pipo! Keep em coming and keep the jammie pic coming too!!
So frickin cute standing there like that.
Wow, she's making amazing progress already! Love the photos...she'll be whipping up stuff in that kitchen in no time!
Wow! Wouldn't it be awesome if you've changed your last poopy diaper? If she's cool with it, I say why the heck not! My son was poopy trained when he was 1 (we had a potty chair in the family room and he loved to use it!)
By the way, as you might have already noticed, Claire is so stinkin' cute! (no pun intended)

Our blog: Double Happiness!
Great job with the potty/poop thing. I've found that it's super easy when you start this young. ALL my daycare kids were in undies by 20 months because I did the same thing with them. There weren't any potty training woes because it's as normal to them as eating and breathing when done this way. I wish we lived near each other, I think we would find we had a lot in common.
My goodness, she is going to be walking - and running! - before you know it. Looks like CW is growing by leaps and bounds! And love the potty training, we really had to work at it so I wished we had started sooner!
that last paragraph says IT.ALL.
so happy for you. and for her poop. :) may not be potty trained, but it saved a diaper change or 2 anyway!
