This guy has the right idea. It's the best #2 I've seen in a long time!No more night calls. Two more days in the office. The next time I get yanked from my bed at 3AM it will be for my OWN baby. Unless, of course, she sleeps like an angel all night long every.single.night (Yes, fear not, I'm kidding).
I'm not much of a sleeper anyhoo so I have gotten a dent in that deep cleaning. I do believe the house will be spotless by the time that plane takes off. I'm just so excited I can't sit still to save my life. The flight should prove interesting!

YEA... 2 days..
I am sooo excited..
Does it seem really real yet???
I am sure when you get on the plane it will all soak in..
Hugs..
Bring on Pipa...
This is so exciting, and I am so very happy for you. If you are too anxious on the plane, start taking some laps. You will eventually get tired... right? Good luck!
I'm with ya on the cleaning thing. For each of our adoptions I tried to deep clean before we left on our trip. Its all a part of that nesting thing. ;>)
And we're so excited along with you! Can't wait to see you with your girl!
Can't believe it's 2 days!!! Cannot wait to see you and Pipa together.. It will mean so much to so many people. Safe travels... Linda
I think you will be traveling with my son's pediatrician and his wife (a friend of mine). At least you won't be the only medical person there being asked a zillion questions. I became the resident expert for all things scabies and wound care when I was in VN.
Enjoy every minute of it. Soak it up as much as possible--even this part. It goes to quickly and record, record record as much as possible. Not that any parent actually needs to be told that, but I would have these moments when I was in VN when I would tell myself I needed to remember this moment--the quiet and the bustling.
I am so excited for you! I can't wait to "see" you with her!
Found your blog through other adoption blogs and have been following your journey from before your referral to now - and am so excited to be able to follow along with your trip to China! It's the most awesome journey - and we have been privileged to make it twice, Safe travels to you - and have fun and be blessed as a family so very soon now!

SOOO excited!! I cannot wait for you to have that little girl in your arms!!!!
WOOHOO!!!!!
I'm sorry I got behind reading your blog. I have one word for attacking snot: Alkalol
It's all natural, very inexpensive, but usually must be asked for at the drug store pharmacy, though it's over-the-counter. You can Google it. Use it just like saline. It was actually recommended to me by a doctor dad and I've not had a sinus infection or sore throat since.
In my house we call this Boogie Juice and even the under 2 year-olds ask for it by this name. They lay down and let me squirt it up their little nostils even though they cough and sputter as it drips down the back of their throat. For kids, I recommend the Boogie Juice followed by the Boogie Sucker (3 oz. bulb syringe). I had a 2 year-old cry once because after I "juiced" his nose, I didn't "suck" it. I then sucked it and he went into the playroom happy.
The only thing I have on my take to China list is Boogie Juice and a Boogie Sucker. I'll handwash the same pair of undies every day if needed, just to have BJ and BS along.
2!
