Five!

It dawned on me this morning that this is the last Friday morning I will be alone in my house for a number of years. Someone pick my jaw up off the floor. It's almost time for me to step up! Could life be any sweeter?

Still feeling snotalicious. Thanks guys, I have used Airborne but without much headway for me....no pun intended. I suspect if my weekend call remains reasonable I'll be able to give my sorry sinuses some of the attention they deserve. I've got to find the time to do it because if I don't there will be NO sleep on that plane...for me nor anyone within a few rows of me because I'll be flopping like a fish on deck.

PS: There is some fun this weekend at the Casa de Paradise. Enjoy ladies. I hope some good referral news squeaks out SOON. Breathe a little salt air and tip a frosty drinky-poo for me.

Yeah, high FIVE!

It sounds to me you need a nice bowl of soup with LOTS of garlic and ginger ;-)

I am so excited for you!

Here are the chinese numbers with how I say them as well. I tried to add the characters but they won't copy. I couldn't get the accents over the letters either but I am counting down with you.

Five = wu (u)
Four = si (su)
Three = san (sun)
Two = er (r)
One = yi (e)

Airborne will actually only work if you take it BEFORE you get sick. If I even have a sniffle before I take it, it does nothing. Thus, I end up taking it constantly any time I feel a tickle in my nose which is probably just a sneeze. However, I never get sick. I belive that Emergen-C or Zicam can be taken AFTER you are sick, maybe look into those.

Also, I'm a first time commenter (strange the things that get me to speak up...) but wanted to say how thrilled I am that you're on your way to your baby girl! So excited to hear about the next few weeks!

Wow...when you look at it like that, definitely makes your heart flutter!

Have you tried salt water? You can buy a bottle of pressurized sea water that cleans out the sinus and such. Helps to rid the mucus and aid in getting better faster.

Keep smilin!

Okay...just read your last post. D'uh of course you would know about sea water/saline spray. But it does help...better then snorting water when you are in the shower!

Wheee! You're down to 1 hand! 5 fingers!

Wow, your comment about Friday morning gave me goosebumps. What an amazing time in your life is in front of you...and she's within the grasp of those 5 little fingers!!

LOL! I was going to recommend finding some wonderful little things to help you sleep on the plane rather than floppin like a fish but after that one fateful trip home when you cuddled into your neighbour's shoulder I'm not thinking that would be a good thing.

That story still makes me laugh!!
Ah friend, you're great entertainment! Wonder how many people he's told about the cutie that slept on his shoulder in the plane??

I'm catching up too...
Loved reading your daily countdown. Hope you have a good book to read on the plane and then can chuck it! We were bored on the flight going over (watched movies) because I didn't want to carry a book.
Hope your health is perfect for flying.... so exciting!! We are thrilled for you and can't wait to hear "all about it"!

If you have an Oriental market in your area, go in & ask for Lo Han Quo. This is a fruit tea beverage that works wonders when you have a cold. Most of us in my FCC group swear by it.

BTW, yay! I can't believe it's finally here.
