Another one down. Six more days, 3 more office days, 3 more night calls to go.
Tonight is short and sweet because the plague is still kicking me down into a corner. I'm off to bed. Yes, I live in fear after last year so I have already been the route of azithromycin this week. What remains is just viral fallout that has to run it's course. I'm doing every supportive measure I can find time to do...except that neti pot gig. I'll get to that sometime after I candle my ears. In truth, a little saline nasal spray is more up my alley. Good ole Florence Nightingale wanted everyone to get rest and fresh air to feel better. I'm afraid I am doing her wrong because I have time for neither. Ah well, better living through pharmaceuticals.
Considering those pharmaceuticals, if I have to pack more junk to take along I'll be in trouble! I am already hearing word from experienced travellers that perhaps my bag is too fat. I'll give it a closer looky loo. Then again, I don't want to get too close in case it blows under all the pressure...kinda like my head ;0)
The travel group conference call is tomorrow. I can hardly believe that in one week I'll be trotting about Beijing only a couple of days from meeting my girl. May the snot makers have mercy on me.
