Remember the invite for the office shower? Here it is:
Now look at the cake I was presented with tonight. How cute is that? The pink circles are the cheeks. They photographed more starkly than the cake looked in person so I didn't want to confuse you thinking those were the eyes! The detail was amazing...right down to the hippo in the corner. I think this was an incredible job. The cake was baked by my office billing gal and decorated by her teen-aged granddaughter. How sweet. I just love this stuff. I spend most of my days all mushy anymore...either literally from the snow or figuratively from the emotions! Once again I was overwhelmed by good things coming my
PIPA's way. It's breathtaking how one tiny child has so many people on the other side of the world so very eager to meet her. Even the staff of PF Chang's is sending their love :0)
Now, speaking of the other side of the world. I am REALLY ready to get there :0) My girl has her goods waiting and mama is ready to try 'em all out! Holy
moly...I'm going to China at last!!!

Wow!!! Beautiful cake!! Did you ever find out what the wording on the invite said? If not, I'll try to remember to ask at work tomorrow. Have lots of people who would be willing to help me out.

GREAT job on the cake. Isn't it great feeling all the love everyone has for your sweet girl before they've even had the awesome opportunity to meet her. I'm still amazed how many people are involved in Maddy's life. How many people truly love her! Makes my heart feel soo good to know she is forever loved.
