Arrival of the PIPA throne :0)

The incredible gift you see below arrived Monday evening. Pugmama graciously told me to be on the lookout for a very 'big box' so I ran home from the office, snatched it off the porch and tore into it before dashing back to the hospital. I held on posting about it because such cuteness deserved a post of its very own!

Look at my girls' chenille throne. So perfectly sized for that little bum. It cracks me up and I think it is fabulous. When I first opened the package I did not even see the kitty and pug pals you see here. I found them underneath the throne. They look quite at home where they are.

Pugmama, you deserve an award for determination. You lugged that sizable cuteness and got it shipped all the way up here without a hitch. I am impressed. You could have a side career as a furniture wrangler. I love it and can hardly wait to take a picture with PIPA's bum planted right in the middle.

But, in the meantime this is a picture of the reality. Jake thanks you too. He thinks the throne is amazingly comfortable and believes that pink IS his color. He has also commandeered the jogging stroller, the car seat and the crib at various times in the past. I suspect there will be some adjustment issues ;0)

Such amazing generosity from the friends I have met along the way - it overwhelms me (in a good way). I am so proud to know such wonderful people and thrilled my girl has very special aunties all over this country and a few other countries as well!

Pugmama, the note you put in the package about my PIPA makes me cry each time I look at it. "Now you will know the true meaning of the word love." Amen to that. Thank you. XO

Added after the original post: Jake the cat IS a big dude at 14-15#. He thinks he's a panther and I just let him believe that. The chair is like a chair-and-a-half in mini-size. So cute. Yeah, Jake does look like a feline King Kong on it ;0)

Looking at the first photo I thought that is a small "loveseat". Cute! Then I saw the second photo and really laughed. Either you have a GIANT cat or the chair really is a perfect little size for PIPA!

I thought the same thing as Gramma. I was thinking, "Wow, that's quite a big piece of furniture to ship!" Then I saw the second picture and thought, "Wow that cat is huge!" :)

Very cute and PIPA will love it, but not as much as her momma's arms, I'm sure!

HOLY FREAKISHLY BIG CAT, BAT MAN!!
He makes that sofa look so little - and man that sucker is NOT little. If you know what I went through to ship that thing to you.
When I first brought it to UPS to ship they wanted $90.00 to pack it in a box for me and mail it.
I said, "like hell"
so I brought it home and packed it in a box myslef and then brought it back to ship out - which is why it took so long -----had trouble finding a big enough box. Again - you have one HUGE cat!!!

OMG I AM ROFLMAO RIGHT NOW!!!! I SOOOO didn't expect that little sofa to be that little and that cat to look so big on it. All I keep hearing in my head is that odd sound Godzilla made every time he stomped someone out, and then after that all I hear in my head is the sound of Jake eating that stuffed cat and going "NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM...."

Wow. Thanks for that snorting-hard laughter break :P

PS - that pugalicious one is a great gift giver, ain't she???

alright.
That's it.
You need to take a picture of that couch next to your legs or something.
I hauled that big ol' thing around and your cat is making it look sooo small

That's beautiful! I can't believe PM shipped that. She's a determined woman cuz it couldn't of been easy. LOL!

Jake does look like a giant on it. That's a great pic!

Aaawwwww!!!! That Pugmama is just too much isn't she?!!! The epitomy of kindness.

I'm surprised Jake didn't eat the Pug?!!! :)

You MUST post a photo of Pipalicious on the throne when you get home! (I feel funny calling it "the throne"... as it's a nickname for the toilet in Australia!!!)
