Summer Breeze...

The summer seems to be flying by at warp speed. I still haven't gotten back to the blogs to catch up very much. Great intentions so they say...

I thought I'd just put the quick word out to say that all is going well, albeit very busy, at the moment. C is doing wonderfully and, if I don't jinx myself, so am I. All is flowing nicely in our world for now and I remain ever hopeful it will stay that way for a nice stretch.

I leave you with photos of my sweetness wearing outfits that I bought way back in 2006...before she was ever conceived! It is surreal to see her wearing them now.

Where did my baby girl go in 4 short months? She's growing so fast. I miss my baby-ness that is fading away but I love the big girl she is becoming. Seventeen months and one sassy sista.

...this dress was bought when I felt the need to have something with a ladybug on it for my girl. I think she wears it well but we're pretty much a bug free household these days ;0)

She's starting to get hair I could do something with if only she would allow it. Miss C is very clear that there will be NO adornments in her hair. Matter of fact, if left to her own devices, she would strip the hair adornments out of everyone else's hair. A prissy gal she is not :0)

So happy to hear all is going well!!! With a beautiful girl like C how could it not... Even in the bad times, a smile from a child will help to heal you. They get so big so fast, savor all the moments because tomorrow something new will be happening.. Lauren takes her pretty out of her hair all the time also.. Linda

My 11 year old hates doing her hair too. She wants her hair long because then it's like a horse's mane, but she refuses to actually do anything other than a pony tail. I guess I should be thankful that she's not OBSESSED with her hair....LOL!

I'm so glad to hear that things are trekking along smoothly. Give her a big smooch from the Tongginator, k? (Though you don't have to tel her that. Because that might scare her. Seeing as how she's never technically met the Tongginator.)

I'm laughing at your "bug free" household comment!!! I'm the same!!! During the wait - I felt the need for bugs... now - not so much!! :)

Oh my goodness, C is such a sweetheart! She looks very alert and busy!!! Just to keep Mama on her toes?!!!

Glad things are all good, albeit busy!

I've been so busy with Life & Kids that I haven't been visiting blogs for a while. What a difference a month or so makes. She's beautiful!

Pipa looks beautiful, and healthy. And Kerri would not let me put anything in her hair either. Yet she is girly when she wants to be, so there is hope!
Enjoy your summer!
