Still wrangling trying to get surgery on the books for my gal.
Now there is this:
'Mum is broken.' (Cracks me up that C has taken to calling me 'mum'. We'll keep it.) It's the latest in summer footwear around here and I'm stuck with it for a good while in hopes of preventing me from having a spot on the surgery schedule. Don't even ask how it happened (it's not exciting)...let's just pretend that the ankle will heal fast. It's a real joy trying to get through a long day in the office and then drag over to the hospital. But, onward I go. After all, it takes longer to whine about it than to just suck it up and get the job done.
That whole 'you never get anything more than you can handle' thing? I'm tired of it now :0) I'd much prefer to just grab my gal and run away from everything for a while...except that I can't run!

Oh dear. Well, it looks kinda like a ski boot so maybe you could pretend that you are getting away from it all, shooshing down the slopes? You could come to CANADA to do that, you know. I'm just sayin'.

Wow C - that just bites! Hope you heal up soon. I've had a bit of experience with footwear like that BEFORE baby. I can't even begin to imagine what a pain in the *ahem* ankle that has to be with a little one in tow! Here's to a swift recovery.

Ya that never get more then you can handel is way over raded. You and Annalise will have to see who mends quicker. Thank goodnes she will not need surgery. Hope yours is minor and your back on your feet soon.
