Okay, I am just going to have to fold up shop here for a bit. I STINK at keeping up outside of my gals who are now in China or just home. Seriously, all is going to be okay. No huge drama. I've just got so much on my plate right now and I had another steaming helping of worry served up tonight. C and I are fine. But, if you're a praying kind throw in a good thought for my dad who will now be having an invasive cardiac procedure at the end of next week. That all has thrown me for a loop because he is the 'healthier' of my parents by a long shot.
...'we never get more than we can handle'...I never want to hear that again.
Be back in a while when I've got a better grip on things and we're on the other side of this. It's time, in the way that works for me, to turn in towards myself and figure out the next steps.

keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers - I totally get the blog thing - I blog now just to keep track of our lives for our son - it's no longer, for me, about the ladybugs and lid dates -because of the craziness of IA, which seems to be a very unrealistic dream for us - but through this journey, no matter how it ends for us, I have had the pleasure of following some great women to their dreams - I wish you a lifetime of happiness with your precious girl.... see ya when you come back :)

I'm so sorry about your Dad. It is so hard when our parents are sick. I will keep him(and you guys) in my thoughts and prayers.

You need to take care of home and little one first, then drop by and let us know all is well when you can.
I think there is a time when as my daughter has put it on her new blog.. Life is what happens between the pages, meaning she doesn't have the same time she used to, so she has been doing scrapebook pages all along and here new blog will be those. She had decided along time ago to make a book every year or 2 for Lauren and this is how she will be doing it. Less blogging, just pictures for her book.

I'm not sure who invented that phrase, but honestly, they need to get kicked to the curb. It really is the most ridiculous piece of clap trap and if anyone has handed that to you of late please give me their address and I'll go round and have a little word to them.

Man have I been out of the loop trying to get Lane ready for travel (11 days to go!) and have missed out on so much.
Cardiac surgery is definitely no fun. I'll keep your dad in my prayers that everything will go smoothly.
Just remember to breathe and we'll be waiting when you get back.
In the last year, my dad has battled cancer (for the 2nd time) and had two heart attacks. I flinch every time the phone rings. I'll send an extra prayer up for your dad too.
