I couldn't let this day go by...

Oh, how I look forward to the day of the fluid dance (or even in the neighborhood of a dance). For now, this newbie is still trying to keep footing on quicksand while juggling an entire set of kitchen knives ;0) The good news: I'm starting to think that feeling is normal and, thus, am getting better at it! After all, look at that picture. Mamahood is not for wimps but the victories are the sweetest ever.

Back to the quiet time. Today we will spend time as a family and, later, light a candle in honor of my daughter's first mother.

(Russell, believe me, I will address your incredibly 'sensitive' and 'appropriate' comment from earlier in the month. However, I am not going to take away from sharing Mother's Day with my daughter and my own mother to do so. Perhaps, if you still have your mother you could ask her about grace, kindness and understanding of others who are not as perfect and blessed not to have to work at supporting a family as you must be.)
