Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...

With all the 'stuff' going on around here lately, it would be easy to get tunnel-vision. You know the gig, you get a new hammer and suddenly everything starts looking like a nail.

Overall, the sun continues to peek through the clouds for now. But, we've had some tough nights for other reasons. Choppers. My girl is drooling non-stop (which I just adore ;0). Finally, she is popping the first molars through. Ouch. We finally got the uppers through and I thought maybe we'd have a bit of a break. Nope, it is right on to the lowers so I'll be keeping the baby anbesol and ibuprofen handy.

The cry of discomfort sounds so very different from the cries I had been hearing. Hah, I can nearly say this one is music to my ears. In comparison, it truly is.

So, my girl had 8 teeth last month and now we are working on 11 and 12 from the looks of things. Chomp, chomp. * I should clarify. She already had 8 teeth. Poor kid didn't pop them all through last month. Since we've been together she has popped out two molars and is working on two more.

As hard as it is to hear the cry of pain...it is a blessing in disguise. For her to feel the pain and actually respond to it, is a good sign. When I was first home with Ava, I actually thought she had that condition where they can't feel pain, as she never reacted to it...even with her surgeries.
Hoping Claire and Mama get through the teething phase without too much discomfort or stress.

Ouch. Poor baby...teething stinks. But while I feel sorry for your little girl, I have to tell you - what an opportunity! You can get all kinds of bonding rocking, hugging and loving in and more than likely she'll be all for it since she's feeling so poorly. Carpe diem! :)

Good heavens she's in a race to get a full set. But like you said, that cry is a lot different than some other ones. Good thing you're fully capable - and in fact - my hero!

Poor little girl and Mama too. Hope that all the teeth break through quickly and that she's feeling better soon.

Ouch. Poor baby! That must SUCK! Sarah is getting her twelve year molars and says they REALLY hurt. Now that's she 11 she can articulate how MUCH it hurts and I have a whole new respect for the whole teething thing. Poor sweet girl. (I meant C.W., not Sarah, although she is sweet too. :-))
