That 'cherry on top' hat is crazy cute. I think I just may have to wear it instead of PIPA ;0) There is a purple pig onesie which will be perfect for my gal who made the Year of the Golden Pig by a matter of days. As well, I've been hearing about the 'No-Cry Sleep Solution' book. I'll have to check into that for sure. I'm not sure which one of us won't be crying if she really doesn't sleep ;0) Thank you, mama of the suger-honey-iced-tea. (I'm getting better...really.)

I love that Maisie included her photo wearing the duck jams...that makes it all the more special. I can see my girl kickin' back in those jams and watching some Baby Einstein. I also send a huge thanks to Miss Maisie for the very sweet note to PIPA that she sent with the goodies.I am so very eager to put all these wonderful, thoughtful things to use. Only weeks to go now!!!

Good luck with the sleep thing....some people are better at it than others..I suck at it. My sister on the other hand is a sleep nazi and always had her kids to bed by 7:30 and sleeping through the night! Me, well I had a cot under my bed for Ben or Hannah to pull out so they could sleep in our room....until they were four!

I borrowed an ERGO for the trip thinking it would be a trial, too. I don't know what I would have done without it!!!! It was great, especially at the airports. Since my daughter is a little older than PIPA, though, we ended up not needing it once we were home. So glad I didn't invest the big bucks. My friend gave it to me with a video to watch. It helped me try it out a bit before the big day.
As far as sleep goes.... I don't think you will know what will be best until you really know PIPA. This was my hardest issue. All my adjustment and jet lagged craziness got funneled into sleep concerns. It took a while to figure out what was best. As long as I stuck with "the plan" and didn't impulsively do something half cocked, it eventually worked.

Love the gifts! I too loved having the Ergo to carry and bond with Ellie. HOWEVER, I can't for the life of me click all the clasps by myself! I tried wearing it to bring Ellie and my pooch to the vet the other day and what a catastrophe! Crying baby, teary mama and neurotic dog. Maybe I missed something on the dvd that comes with it and you know I had no time to view it so I trashed it! My brother had to help me everytime in China. I'm sure it's a total ID10T error so if you figure it out PLEASE let me know what I'm doing wrong! Good grief, but I can't believe I went public with this... =) =)
Start practicing carrying the cats around! True story, we put our poor pooch in the baby carrier first to make sure it was on properly, and then to get used to carrying the weight around. Poor pooch.
