More love

Nearly every day lately my mailbox or porch brings forth more love from near and far for my PIPA. I am overwhelmed with emotion at all of the kindness, generosity and incredible thoughtfulness of everyone who has shared this journey with me over these past years. I cannot begin to express in words what your kindness and encouragement have meant to me. It quite seriously brings me to tears when I see that cards and packages have arrived to honor my girl's homecoming from all over the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, and the UK. Three years ago, I never would have imagined such a response to the news of my daughter's arrival. She has loving, caring people thinking about her all over the globe. That just melts my heart. I am utterly blown away.

Recent arrivals:

Ozimum is the mum of all mums in my book. Her capacity for overseas love and kindness with a lot of great humor thrown in is absolutely boundless and has been so throughout this wait. She is so close to her sweet Tiny and will be meeting her just weeks before I meet PIPA. She is #1 on my list of people I would love to meet. Amazing to know that someone is on the opposite side of the world and you have never officially met but you just know if that opportunity arose you would get on like you had known each other forever. That's Ozimum. Her generosity with PIPA is just jaw dropping. Look at this beautiful clothing!!! The little jeans and kitty top are simply adorable. As well, PIPA will have her attitude going on when she has on her pretty blue girly skirt. Look near the top of the matching top...that is a little color-coordinating headband. Can you stand it?? That will DEFINITELY be a photo opp. Ozimumilicious even included a cute shirt with a 'Jake' replica on it. It says 'Scaredy Cat' and, yeah, I suspect that may well be Jake when he first meets PIPA. Ever thoughtful that she is, she included PIPO too. See that box of truffles? No, it's not empty already. (Anyone have a wet nap? ;0) Ozimum, I just KNEW you would pick up on that sweet sheep in the prior post. I love it that you did...ewe are the best.

This thoughtful Red Sand gal is still awaiting her little one but she is drawing ever closer. Keep hanging by those fingernails because you have almost made it! She sent such a wonderful note . The cards have been so uplifting to me...thank you to ALL who have sent your wishes. Included were these fun baby legs. Essentially they are baby leg warmers and I do believe PIPA is going to rock those with panache. I just LOVE the dots and I think they are going to be great paired with a denim skirt. See the blossom? It has a little sticky back and it now resides on my Mac saying 'Hi' to me everytime I sidle up to the computer.

Enjoy your weekend, all!

PS: Mommy to AA - I haven't forgotten that blog award..I'm just going to give it a post of its own when I can :0)

Oh gosh! You have brought tears to my eyes, you sweet thing! (sorry EWE sweet thing!)

I'm definitely up for a meeting! So when are you coming to Australia?!!!!!! I'm kidding.. I've met so many GORGEOUS girls in the US, I just HAVE to go to USA. I'm considering doing my own "campaign style" tour across America, with a big bus, complete with lots of baby kissing?!!! LOL!!!
Glad you liked the goodies! I just couldn't resist the "pussy" attire... although I felt a bit dumb, buying from America, having it shipped here, then sending it back to America?!! Pumpkin Patch is Aussie though!!

You better starting investing in more tissue boxes, my friend. The emotions are gonna keep building and won't end even after she is in your arms.

We're all getting so excited and I guess I need to break out a tissue box too!
