Just some facts

1) Babies have absolutely no understanding of the phrase 'inclement weather'. Matter of fact, they seem to like it.

2) The last couple days have been full of said 'inclement weather'.

So, why have I not been around much? See point one. Now, look at point two. There you have it. I'm snowed under. No pun intended but will be back when I can.

In the picture above the iced tree branches are nearly touching the driveway. There is a street out there too and the plow had run across it not 15 minutes before I took this picture. Snow is coming at up to 2 inches per hour right now and it looks like tonight's baby shower is on the rails to be rescheduled. The current falling snow is covering layers of ice. Sigh.

I'm so sorry your shower has to be rescheduled. Said inclement weather can be really stinky.

Just think anticipation makes things sweeter... Everyone adopting from China knows that. Your shower will be amazing when it happens... Happy Pipa Day... Linda

Gotta love those winters we get here. Personally, I love it. Then again, I do not have to go/be anywhere, so we are hunkered down with crafts, movies and hot chocolate ;-)
What's not to love?

Good grief! I'd never survive that!! We've got a half inch of ice today and the whole town is shut down.

Sorry about the shower!

I can't believe how snowy and icy it is!

and if today is the baby shower, that means today is PIPA's b-day, yes? if so, Happy Birthday PIPA. :)

We, here in MO, just went thru this same yucky storm!

Go ahead and kick me but..."Ooohhh HOW PRETTY!"

This Indiana girl is ready for some Indiana weather again. And I am having a fit that I'm missing the 12.5 inches that kept my sister from going to work today!!!

Stay warm. We're just getting yucky cold rain here in GA!

Bummer about the shower! I gave birth in a sleet storm in November and every year since, on that same day, it's been at least in the 50's and beautiful. Go figure. Stay safe!

Beautiful trees! Sorry to hear about your shower being delayed.

Stay safe friend. Can those babies coordinate it so that you don't have to travel those snowy roads too often?

Oh crap... no shower? Damn Ohio weather. Figures this had to happen today of all days. Hope they get it back on the schedule soon.

It stinks that you missed your party--what a let down! I certainly feel your pain though--we've had just over a foot here. Hopefully they will reschedule before you leave--it's a right of passage that should not be missed!
