- Why speed? Because this week has just flown by. Busy, busy. How is it that time goes so, so fast in some ways but it seems like eternity waiting for the next round of referrals?
- People are having a birthing fiesta in my neck of the woods. Uh, yeah, that would be why I've been so busy. Babies are coming out of the woodwork.
- It's finally fall around here. Little bit o'nippy air. I love it. Of course, when I am home, I now have cats velcro-attached to me because they prefer things quite warm. I think they need a shavin' because I hate it when they shed on me. (I am kidding, people. No four-legged little sphinx kitties around here.)
- The mailbox is still a mystery. The mail guy did not leave the weird 'fix your box' note and he stated that my box was 'perfectly fine' when he left the mail that fateful day. I feel so special. Worse yet, I am missing a rug I ordered that was delivered that day and I know of one missing package. BITES the big one, it does. I did rig up the box but I suppose it is time to let it go to the special place for mailboxes in the sky because I opened it tonight and the door fell off again. (Apparently I am not so adept at mailbox repair. Don't worry, I do better with people).
- I figure 6 weeks or so and I will see my kidlet's face! I've been having whack dreams again. My referral picture has been of an old woman among other crazy variations including a kid who looks like a clone of Winston Churchill. I laugh at it once I am wide awake but I will confess to freaking out a little bit over the Churchill baby ;0)

- You'll all be glad to know the poor soul from a prior post who thought she had the immaculate conception is not pregnant. Unfortunately, it took an ultrasound to even vaguely convince her. But, she still thinks the baby is 'hiding'. She is getting the help she needs. Sad.
- My wonderful weeks of effortless weight loss have come to a screeching halt. $&# Okay, looks like I'll have to start working on it now because the speedy drop has now been followed by a 3# gain. Uh, wrong direction!! Frustrating....but, wow, that pad thai is good!
- I'm looking forward to some winter-time fun with my little Winnie (no, that is not her name).
- Got my child abuse clearance (again). Woohoo - I am no longer living under the name of 'Carrie'.
- Back to work for me. Hope you're having a great weekend :0)

Bummer bout the weight loss (or should I say gain? but that is such a dirty word!!!)
I'm very glad that girl is not pregas... I have sincere doubts about her suitability to raise a child!
HA! Winston!!! Truly Luv, you need to lay off the magic mushies before you go to bed!!!
Thanks for your name suggestion, by the way! But it's YOU who is the sheep shagger!!! Mini will be a rat, I think... how about Ratti?!
Still doing paperwork...ugh!
Nasty to think someone might have lifted some of you packages. So sorry that's happened to you.
6 weeks? WAHOOO!!! So cool!
Can't wait to see her pretty little face and hear her beautiful name..
Sounds like you are staying busy.
Have a Great Sunday..
I am loving fall right along with you.
Very strange about the mailbox.
6 weeks until referral?? I am trying to rmn calm ;-)
Can I borrow your cats? It's going down to 27 degrees tonight!
Sorry about your missing package, hopefully it can be replaced. I think it's time to let go of the mailbox though. May it rest in recycle peace!
Now for the good stuff....thank goodness the immaculate conception girl is getting the help she needs. I think it may have been a cry for help in disguise.
And pad thai is worth at least one pound! Maybe some yard work, raking leaves might help you kick off the weight loss? I have a yard full if you want to stop by and help!
6 WEEKS!!!!!! Enough said. LOL! Woohoo!! OK had to get one more word in.
Winston Churchill, huh? That baby will have SOOOOME jowls! Better than a Hitler baby, anyway.
# 4 was funny - I hope your better with people :)
Fall has come to SW Fl today - no airconditioner on - yeah!
Holy Crap! 6 weeks until your referral!
Unlike Sandra I am totally not calm!!!
So exciting:)
Sorry about the smashed mailbox! Funny thing, someone ran over our mailbox while we were in China! My parents got it fixed before we got home - thank goodness. We were kind of busy when we got home. ;)
Laughing at the Churchill baby - sorry. :D
I am so freakin' pissed over my missing package.
Someone is out there wearing your Life Is Good Shirt.
6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come join my weight loss blog; we could always use a little comic relief :) and maybe we can get those numbers going in the opposite direction.
So now you are having dreams about old British male babies...whuzup woman??
Hugs!
The next time I see you you'll have a picture!!!!!! Wow!! Double Wow!!! I am still betting on a little Italian boy over a Churchill look-a-like!!! ;o)
I need to get back in gear too, the non-fat food with friends is starting to catch up with me. What the heck?!?! I need to swim. :)
Miss you!
I can sympathize on the mailbox issue. I don't know how many times I would come home to find it lying on the ground. I would nail it back up and by the end of the day it was off again. It wasn't until I saw the neighbor girl (a low functioning child) beating it with a bat that I finally understood. My dad replaced it and concreted a 4x4 wood post in. Trust me, if anyone bangs that thing now they will regret it.
Speaking of whack dreams, just last night I had a dream that you, Tracy and Senja (Crazylady) came for a bloggy visit. I am pretty sure the reason you were in it is because Monday I had my yearly exam and you did come to mind that day (mostly I was thinking how stinkin excited I am for your referral). You don't resemble my Doc in the slightest. He is 6'4" and looks like Mr. Rogers. I.kid.you.not.
Anyhoo, Thanks for the visit even if it was only a dream. We had a fab time.
