Again...

Another night of sleeping for 11 hours. Wow....this is very cool. I must say she loves her penguin PJs from Ayi Special K. She needs to soak them up now though because Miss Long Legs will outgrow them in about 10 seconds. I am not sure what I did to deserve such an easy girl starting out but I am not about to complain about it.

Thank you to MaryEllen at A Beautiful Mess. That Ergo is life-saving and PIPA has spent the majority of time there when we are out and about. The stroller was only used briefly to do a walk about in the hotel so far. The Ergo can be a challenge to get into but it rocks my world once all hooked up. Ergo on the front, Baby Sherpa on the back and we are ready to cruise...despite the fact that I look as packed up as the back of one of the motor scooters whizzing in and out of traffic here.

Just checked in on RQ...I'm thinking of you guys on the cusp and you all know who you are. This is the greatest feeling I can imagine and I can hardly wait for you to be right where I am! Love to ya.

I'm looking forward to seeing what today brings.

Dingdang it...my pants are still seriously soggy! Oh and I forgot to mention earlier (because too many good things are going on) that both my SIL and I had stuff swiped from our luggage on the flight from Beijing to Nanchang. Hah, mine was even locked. Oh well, it was nothing huge. We had the critical stuff with us. It was just the idea of it. What a downer. Then again, I forgot to mention it because I am already over it.

Sorry about the stealing. That's crappy.

All day, when I'd get down due to rotten rumours (grrr!), I'd think of you and PIPA and smile. Hope the pants dry soon.

OMG she looks so stinkin' cute in those things!!! Purple is definitely her color.

I swear she's so delish I just want to raise her shirt and blow raspberries on that little belly.

PS. I can't believe somebody jacked something out of your luggage. I mean... I CAN believe it... it just really sucks.

It is so good to read that you guys are doing so well. I just love the pic of PIPA sleeping. So sweet.
I cannot believe that you had some things swiped from your luggage. I know you said that it was nothing huge, but seriously, that really stinks. Why were the things swiped? I thought you were COO. Sorry for the questions, I am just really curious.
Glad to hear that all is well with you. Looking forward to the next update!

What a little cutie your Pipa is and oh so content and happy to be with her mamma! Yay!!!

For the wet clothes I have one suggestion. You grab one end and SIL grab the other and twist in different directions until you're looking at a wringing, twisted mess that you can barely hold. You might be surprised how much water comes out. I spent 3 1/2 months in India once and this was how we did all our laundry and it was amazing how much water a 2 person wringing team could get out! Warning! They'll stretch some so you might need to be buying yourself some mommy stilettos when sporting your Pipa in her ergo....but your clothes will hopefully dry quicker.

Congrats on motherhood!

See if the hotel has an iron. You can iron the pants and they will dry.
It is just easier to send them out to be cleaned. More time to spend with baby! We had all our clothes washed in Guangzhou the day before we left. That way we hardly had any dirty laundry to bring home. Plus they are all individually wrapped so neatly!
Have fun!

Okay, I'm totally jealous of the sleeping baby. Just like you commented on my blog, you will probably get the sleeper !! I feel like I'm training for the sleep olympics with my girl but we are getting there !! So stinkin happy for your and Pipa. I hope you get your pants dried.

P.s. So sorry to hear that you had a few things stolen from your suitcase. That happened to two folks in our group on our flight from Beijing to Nanning: some chocolates and Ipod speakers.

Can't believe you got stuff nicked out of your bag - that sucks. Did they take clean clothes an leave soggy pants?!!!

When I first saw that photo... I thought it was Tari!!! LOL!!! The gorgeous Special K gave Tari the same PJs - and I took them to China too!!! Aren't they just too cute?!!! (ok, ALMOST as cute as the gorgeous girl, in them?!!)

Of course you have an easy baby... you're an old-hand at this, after delivering so many?!!!

:) Thinking of you! (as I sit hear, Tari is screaming, she doesn't want to have her afternoon sleep!!! )

11 hours eh?, you lucky mama! She is simply delish laying there all sprawled out waiting for a smooch from this auntie. Your so sweet to be thinking of us cuspers while you enjoy your moment. Seeing Ms. Pipa in your arms makes this whole thing believable....like it might actually happen.

I'm shocked anything was swiped from your bag, considering you took so little with you!?!?!

Pipa is adorable! I think I could have stayed up all night watching Kerri the first few nights. Hope the rest of your trip goes without any hitches, glitches or swiping!

Wow PIPO,
Your PIPA is such a sweetie! I love her smile and pirate gear!

Sorry to hear about your theft. Maybe Aunt Special K can assist?

Sounds like you are having an amazing adventure (soggy pants aside) with your girl. Keep writing, we love to soak it all up!

BTW, that flirting stuff only gets worse...Kelsey luuuurves her boys!

ummmmmmm, I for one, would like to know how the mama who DOESN'T require sleep scored the baby that LOVES to sleep.
Murphy's Law - I HAVE to have at least 8 hours of sleep and I will end up with the night owl!!!!
I'm with Lisa - could pop on over to the CCAA while you are there and tell them to get a move on - and to PLEASE not make it a one day batch next month!
I can not believe you had stuff stolen - that's horrible.
Just look at little Pipa in her crib with her cute PJ's!!v Just makes me want to eat her up!!!!
Have I told you lately how beautiful she is??!!!
XOXOX

God grant me a child that sleeps like yours!!! And sorry to hear you had some stuff swiped, that bites even if it wasn't critical stuff. :(

Glad things are going SO well though!

So glad that Pipa is doing so good and you guys too. That's a bummer about some of your stuff getting swiped.

I hear ya on the Ergo, I love the one we got for Sofia. So comfy and so easy! That is a beautiful picture of Pipa snoozing.
