Thanks!

PIPA's very first post-referral gift arrived all the way from the Great White North! Thank you, 3Ds for the oh-so-cute little outfit that will soon have my girl sassing about in it (I still can hardly believe it). Thank you, also, for the duckie bow keeper and bows. I stocked it up to the hilt shortly after taking this picture. Mr. Duck may be busy holding those bows for a while but that's okay. One day my girl will have something to clip and we'll have her stash neatly organized and ready thanks to you. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated.

As well, THANK YOU all for the courier advice. I am going to go with My China Docs. What a difference! Seventy dollars for courier service versus three hundred. That was an easy decision to make. I thought I was being taken over the coals and I was right. I appreciate all your help in finding a better deal.

I sent PIPA's care package today. I did opt to go with Ann at Red Thread. I have heard wonderful things and a number of families have gotten precious updated information quickly going this route. I'll keep you posted.

I am just so spanking happy. I certainly don't recommend anyone try but it is darn near impossible to annoy me these days. My cats don't share that attitude. I put up a baby gate today and they are very clear that they are not impressed. Ah well, I'm sure it won't be the last thing around here that puts a wrinkle in their plans. I also put together the jogger (No doubt I could benefit from that! I should strap in a cat while I wait and hit the road). Then again, it IS cold and snowy and a fire awaits in the fireplace :0)

Ahhh...life is GRAND.

The following was in the card 3Ds sent to me. It made me cry:

As you lay sleeping far away as still as you could be...
How could you know the joy today this photo brings to me?

A few short weeks and you'll be mine, and 'I" will soon be "We".
How could you know the love I feel? It's something you can't see.

So have sweet dreams my precious babe. Sleep well and tenderly.
Some say that you're the lucky one. How could you know it's me?

Your happiness and excitment just makes me smile :) Helps me with the wait - just so you know! I used China Docs during my paperchase for a glitch somewhere (oh a glitch, can you imagine?) Anyway, you'll be happy with them.

I LOVED Ann from Red Threads! She is the best and is so sweet! You will be so happy with her service.

Can't wait until you go to China! I thought the wait between referral and our TA seemed so long, so I am hoping it speeds by for you!

So Happy to read your posts and know how long you have awaited this happy time. I may never meet you, but my eyes hold happy tears for the journeys to families I see forming each month. I cannot wait to see Pipa in your arms.
My daughter used Anne from Red Thread for her care package and did receive several photo's. She also hired her along with some other Mom's to go shopping at the Pearl Market as Anne will help you with pricing and things. I know you follow Donna's blog and she leaves tomorrow to get Lauren... I could not stop crying this afternoon when I said good bye and the next time I see you, you will be a MOM... So happy the dream is coming true for so many.... Linda

I have always enjoyed my visits to your blog. I enjoyed your writing style, and your wit. Not I am enjoying my visits even more. I have a HUGE smile on my face as I read your posts. I'm SOOOO happy for you and your daughter. Look forward to many visits in the following weeks.

Pipo,
I am so thrilled for you. As an adoptive mom friend of mine once said, " adoption becomes like a wedding. You just kept throwing money at it to make any problem go away." Each time you throw money at a problem, you are one step closer to Pipa.

I could annoy you easily. I could send some spiders down to see you....or maybe a cockroach or two....:-)

Seriously though, I am glad you are so happy. I can't wait to watch your journey to your little Pipa.

I am so chuffed that you received it and like the pressie. I know you are duckied out but I could not resist making a bow holder with that cute little fella.

As soon as I read that poem, I knew I wanted to use it for your card. It is very special.

I like the idea and speed that the care packages arrive with Red Threa. I will have to look into them for our turn!

Keep smilin!

Wow! 3D's are the best....generous to the core and a heart as big as they come!! Beautiful gifties and I love the idea of the ribbon clip. Wondered what I would do with all those pretty little bows. You're very creative D!

That poem is unbeleivable! So true it brought tears to my eyes.

Now, about the cats in the strollers. Check out the 'crazy cat woman' commercials on TLC and it will be another (valid) excuse to avoid the jogger at all costs. Ahhh...fireplace. I vote for marshmallows and a hot cup o cocoa.

Lovin ya from afar. SOOOO happy for you!!! xo
