I love sharing the feeling

I am so glad to see some of the nearing referral freaking out, hyperventilating, sobbing, snotting and puking going on around the village for my March buddies. Ahhhhh...it's a wonderful feeling that I remember like it was yesterday. Probably because it WASN'T much more than yesterday!

Hey, for all those speed up rumors it would be totally appropriate. It is a known fact that no one wants to get in line behind me because once I am there things slow to a crawl. Well, I'm out of line now so let the gates fly open :0)

I am coming down enough from my referral high to be scouting for news on TA. I'm ready now :0) I doubt it will happen but I would love to hear something before CNY. Oh, just to get the travel on the books. I am so eager to meet my girl that words do not do justice to any attempt at describing it.

I was introduced to the invitations to my shower being hosted by my co-workers. How stinking cute are these? The shower planner actually ordered the invites from a Chinese site and modified the inside. But, we are stumped as to what it says below the baby. Hmmm....any takers on a translation? If it's not nice please email me privately ;0) I really appreciate how thoughtful and creative her planning has been and I look forward to celebrating PIPA's first birthday with my work bunch as I wait for my babe to come home.

It is -5F here, people. Can someone please remind me why I live here? This is torture. I am crossing every finger and toe for a quiet call night. Brrrrr! Oh, and yes, I pulled some of the gutter goo yesterday. I didn't linger, let me tell ya. I'd give quite a lot for a nice, balmy 25F right now.

Stay warm (and no rubbing salt, paradise dwellers ;0)

Invitations are cute! I have always said that things would speed up after we got our referral. I see you feel the same way :). I don't believe it but gosh I hope it is true!

You live here because we have raspberry chocolate chip. Nuff said.

Yikes! I'm not exactly a paradise dweller, but dang, negative temps just aren't right!

Those invites are too freaking cute. Can't help with translation, sorry. Surely it's something sweet, how could something tacky be written on something so adorable?

Come on TA, I'm ready to follow your trip!! You're going to be right back at that hyperventilating, snotting (lovely word, by the way), puking thing when you're waiting to meet your Pipa!

彌月之喜(or 滿月之喜)can be translated to "Happy One Month Old!".Literally,"彌月"means one month old,"喜" means happiness, and "之" is like the "possessive case" in English. We always celebrate when our baby is one month、one hundred days and one year old in a big way in China.

So when you were close to receiving your referral....Did you have a problem sleeping? Just asking because it's 2:44 AM and I'm commenting on your blog! ;)

I'm sure you will receive your TA before they leave for CNY....It's not long now mama!!! Have you found someone to care for the "pets" while your away? *snort* *oink* *snort*.....Can you tell I'm getting slap happy?

Oh friend, still happy to be riding this stroller coaster with you! Bring on your TA!!!

I have lots of work buddies that might be able to help out with the invitation translation. I'll try to ask them today but as you can well understand, even making it to work having remembered to change out of my jammies and brush my hari will be a feat today! Walking (read: stumbling) around in a referral possibility fog!

Bring on Pipalicious' TA!! Mamma's ready to go!!

Thanks for finally getting out of line already. Maybe things might get moving along now. LOL! ;)

Adorable and thoughtful invites.

I am in full fledge 'i need a bag mode'...not sure if I need it to breathe or to puke in. This is just torture.

I officially only have 1 window open. It's cold here, woke up to a balmy 54* I think. It's only supposed to get to 70* (I think)...not really paying attention to weather....I'm in preterm labor!

I love your theory about the line, I'm gonna go with it! Yes, let's bring on those TA's and some warmer weather!

Cute invitations! Ahh, I remember the torture of waiting for TA! In some ways I think it was more intense and frustrating than the overall wait-especially when a holiday might interfere. Darn holidays! =) You'll need the time to delete things from your packing list so you can COO it!!

That is indeed a a very cute invitation.

We just had a chinook come in so now it actually feels like spring! But that's after about 4 weeks with a minimum of -10C.
