Tiddle bits

I feel like I should say SOMETHING. The echo in my corner of blogville has been quite pronounced. So, I shall bullet on:

• Still doing just fine. Hey, why not when I will finally be seeing my kiddo in 25 days or less (roughly)?
• Work is sucking everything from me these days. In a positive way of looking at things, it has made the time to referral fly by without much ado. In another light, I am absolutely going to be doing a crazy, happy dance when I get to make a break for China! Fear not, I know I am not going on a luxury vacation but to become a mom myself. I am not expecting that to be easy.
  
• I've been spending some holiday time with family. The out-of-towners have been and will be busy traveling to the cold tundra of the Midwest this month ;0) It's been really nice but I have to agree that the more things change the more they stay the same.
  
• Electric heat just sucks (quite frankly)
• Gas prices are downright luscious. $1.48/gallon not too long ago for me. I never thought I would see that again. No, I am not expecting that to last.
• I have been suffering from i*Phone lust for quite a while now. Alas, my practice is contracted with Verizi@n so that jacked me because I could see NO reason to pay outside of Veriz@n just to have the i*Phone. So, I am now the proud owner of the Bl@ckberry contribution and challenger: the Storm. It's a snazzy little devil that I still have a lot to learn about. But, so far, so good. I am all up on this being able to access RQ by pulling her out of my pocket (literally). I didn't have Internet or email on my prior Treo despite it being capable. Hmmmm.....I wonder how productive this will really turn out to be for me ;0)
• There is something in my attic. I heard it scampering last night. Never heard it before and hope to never hear it again. It was a 'big' scamper too. I hope it was just seeking warmth and found there was none. Oh, yeah, did I say I had electric heat? There is no way I am pulling down the attic stairs though. Nope, no way. It'll either move on or die....or I'll be calling the pros when it has babies in my attic. Whatever 'it' is!
• Despite some of the points noted above, my life really IS so good. I am just amazed that it is about to get even better. I'm a very comfy gal these final days of waiting to become a mom. I so look forward to seeing that little face at last.
• Peace...always! (Hey, I haven't even used one of my pre-scheduled meltdown times for a meltdown.... yet :0)
