2) The 'It' in my attic seems to have moved on (Thank you, all things holy.) I have heard nary a peep since the night when it sounded like furniture moving up there.
3) Have you seen the rumors? Word is we are matched through 2/28/06. Okay, so I know I am next but usually when there is a cut off rumor the referrals are not long behind. I'll believe it when I see it (just have to play it that way). Still, I read that little tidbit this morning and then promptly puked. Lovely.

The other day, these beautiful Mother-Daughter pendants arrived as a holiday surprise! Thank you so much, Little Maple's mom.
And, finally, this 'with it' mom has done my packing for me! I love a practical gal and I had quite a laugh of deep appreciation when this package arrived on Christmas Eve. It included disposable bibs, phrase cards in Mandarin, a money belt, a snazzy Vera Bradley airline bag and, the piece de resistance....4 rolls of Charmin to Go (pun intended). I love it.
5) Just because I thought this was cute. Yes, Jorgie is a messy eater so never mind the slop-over. It was Jake that made me laugh. He is patiently waiting in line...ever so closely ;0)
6) I am going to be seriously challenged in the focus department over the coming days. I just hope I don't start throwing up every time the phone rings! Then again...hmmm. Nah, not the way to do it.7) I hope your holidays were wonderful. My past week has been a winner. Only one missing has been one wee girl. I'm leaving a light on for her.

I am writing this as I host friends for dinner who are in town. They borrowed my computer to check email and I took a quick gander at Bloglines and saw RQ's post. Like many I thought of you and came here to see what you had to say and what was going on.
I have told our friends that I am putting the laptop back but really I am writing this and I have a HUMONGOUS smile! I am raising my glass of wine and "cheersing" that soon (and if RQ is not full of crap with this rumour) that you are going to be seeing your daughters face in the next few days!
